Saint Andrew Parish Religious Education Program
The goal of the Religious Education Program at Saint Andrew Catholic Church is to provide children with opportunities for ongoing spiritual development and catechesis in order to continue to grow in faith. The Religious Education Program also prepares children for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. Religious Education is a vital part of continuing the legacy of our faith.
Sacrament Preparation
In keeping with diocesan guidelines, Saint Andrew Church implements a two-year program to prepare children for the reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confiramtion.
The kindergarten through sixth grade curriculum provides children with the preparation needed for the reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist as well as the ongoing spiritual formation and catechesis they will need to continue to grow in the faith.
Preparation for Confirmation begins in grade seven. All who are interested in receiving the sacrament of Confirmation are invited to begin a journey of faith to prepare for this sacrament.
