Adult Education / Bible Study

Every year adult education opportunities are made available for our parishoners to deepen the rich faith of the Catholic Church.

We are offering the following opportunities

• “JOSHUA”  Sept. 6, 2012—Dec. 13, 2012 (13 weeks), Thursdays at 10:30am or 6:30pm in the Community Life Center. 
• “GENESIS TO JESUS” is a 7 part Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM – Noon.  Classes begin Oct. 7, 2012—Nov. 18, 2012.  If you wish you knew the Bible better this course is for you.  It is from Dr. Scott Hahn & the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology.  Student workbook is $12. 
• "JUDGES"  Jan. 3-- March 21, 2013 (11 weeks), Thursdays at 10:30 AM or 6:30 PM in the Community Life Center.
• "RUTH"  May 2—May 23, 2013 (4 weeks), Thursdays at 10:30 AM or 6:30 PM in the Community Life Center.

COME AND JOIN US FOR FELLOWSHIP AND BIBLE STUDY/ NEW PARISHIONERS OR OTHERS FROM NEIGHBORING PARISHES ARE ALSO WELCOME

 SMALL FAITH SHARING COMMUNITIES

Our parish has about 1800 households, so members are encouraged to form Small Faith Sharing Communities where you share fellowship and faith together as well as greater understanding of the scriptures. We presently have twenty groups of eight to ten people that meet in individual homes. Groups meet weekly, at a time convenient for them, to read the scriptures for the upcoming Sunday. As we read and reflect on the scriptures we become more aware of the power of God within us, and more aware of God’s presence.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us by either starting a small group or joining one of our ongoing groups.

Advent and Lenten reflections are offered at the appropriate seasons for all parishioners.
