Dedication of New Playground

Msgr. Chet Moczydlowski, our pastor, dedicated the new playground at St. Andrew School on May 26. The dedication ceremony took place after the weekly school Mass, so all of the school children and teachers, plus a number of parents, were able to attend.
The playground was funded by proceeds from Taste of the Town, a major fund-raising event held every fall at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
Gregory Duckworth, a local architect, designed the new playground, and Scott Heddinger supervised the construction. Both are school parents.
